Keep your child's skills sharp and exciting all summer long. A little bit of practice over the summer helps K-2 students build learning stamina, practice the skills they mastered this year, and experience the pure fun of learning. Great Oak

Help your child maintain their learning stamina and practice their skills over the summer. For reading, check out the Governor's Summer Reading Challenge, or the Oxford Public Library's Reading Program. For math, students are asked to complete a question packet. Hard copies will be sent home with students before the school year is out, but digital links for the math packets are available below.

For the ELA assignments, students have the freedom to choose their own books to read. Below are some resources if your child needs support in identifying books to read.

American Library Association Summer Reading Grades 6-8

 

High School - Students should be logged into their school accounts when accessing links.

Math - Students were given hard copies in school before leaving for the summer. If you need another copy, you can swing by the main office, or use the link..

English - This assignment was reviewed with students at the end of the school year and students had the opportunity to choose a book from the grade-level listprovided, or choose a book on their own that fits the theme. Visit the Oxford Public Library for help in selecting a book if you have not done so already.


Students in AP classes met with teachers before the school year ended to review summer work and expectations.

 

For students enrolled in the EMT class, be on the lookout for access to your textbook and other information coming out mid-July. The email will be going to your student email address from Oxford EMS.
